Request account deletion

Delete your account in the app

If you can still sign in to Family Tasks, the fastest way to delete your account and associated data is:

1. Open https://family-tasks.online or the Family Tasks Android app.
2. Sign in with your account.
3. Open the user menu → Account Settings.
4. Expand Delete account, enter your password and the confirmation text, then confirm deletion.

This permanently deletes your account. Family content you created may also be removed or become unavailable depending on family membership and ownership rules.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, email a deletion request to the Family Tasks operator via the contact method listed on our Privacy Policy, or use the support / developer contact email shown on the Google Play store listing.

Include:

• The email address used for your Family Tasks account
• A clear request to delete the account and associated data

We will verify ownership of the account and process the request within a reasonable time (typically within 30 days).

What gets deleted

• Your account profile (name, email, password hash)
• Security settings such as two-factor authentication data
• Device notification tokens tied to your account
• Content associated with your user record, subject to shared family data rules

We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations, and residual copies may remain in short-lived backups until they expire.
